Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership is registered with IGSOC The Information Governance Statement of Compliance registration code NL205 version 14.1 This covers the way that information is collected and distributed and in particular personal and sensitive information about patients and their treatments. This compliance ensures that information is protected at all times and only used for the intended purpose and is available only to those involved with the treatment or diagnosis via the NHS N3 network for image transfer, NHS mail and imaging results back to the referring GP.
In March 2019 the IGSOC will be replaced by The Data and Security Protection compliance which reflects the current legislative and policy requirements for protecting patient data.
